Our Story
EpicReelEmpire opened its doors in a converted print works in 2014, back when Shoreditch was all warehouse parties and pop-up arcades. We kept the exposed brick, added 40 tournament-grade battle stations, and never looked back.
Today we're East London's busiest gaming lounge — part esports arena, part retro shrine, part clubhouse. Whether you're grinding ranked at 2 AM or bringing fourteen mates for a birthday LAN, the doors are open from noon until late, seven days a week.

Case Studies
Real teams, real events, real outcomes from the EpicReelEmpire floor.
Esports TeamWe hosted the Sentinels' six-week Valorant bootcamp — daily scrims, VOD reviews and a private rig bank. They climbed from Diamond to Radiant and placed top four at the UK Student Championship.
Corporate EventA Old Street startup booked the full back room for a product launch. We ran a Rocket League mini-league with branded overlays, catering and a custom trophy. Zero downtime across four hours.
Community CupOur flagship weekly tournament grew from 16 to 120 regular entrants in a year. Open ladder, £500 pools and a livestreamed grand final have made it East London's busiest amateur bracket.
Player Reviews
Drawn from regulars, tournament players and first-timers alike.
I've tried every gaming café in London and nothing comes close. The rigs are spotless, the network never stutters, and the Friday clash is the most fun I have all week. My coach here got me from Gold to Platinum in a month.
Booked the back room for my brother's 18th and the staff handled everything — sixteen seats, snacks, a custom bracket. He still talks about it. Genuinely the best birthday venue in Shoreditch if your crew loves games.
As a CS2 grinder I care about one thing: latency. Wired sub-5ms every session, 240Hz screens that actually keep up, and a barista who knows my order. I basically live here on weekends now.
Walked in not knowing a thing and left hooked on the retro floor. The Street Fighter cabinet alone is worth the trip. Friendly, unpretentious and weirdly cosy for a place full of gaming PCs.
